I'll probably do a playthrough with Autumn Aurora next and then maybe try LURK and then move on to CoP with arsenal overhaul. If you haven't played clear sky yet, or want to do another playthrough, I can't recommend arsenal overhaul enough. Arsenal overhaul with the better armed renegades addition fixed that right up. Ah and about Complete, I tried Clear Sky complete and loved the look of it (besides the absolutely horrendous gun textures) but it was way too easy and felt boring because everyone in the swamp had the dumb TOZ and a makarov with an MP5 thrown in sometimes.
I ended up going with Oblivion Lost, regardless of the fact that there's still lefty AK's. Right now I'm leaning towards LURK because everything else seems to alter the gameplay too much, but I don't like how LURK has thrown out artifacts as useable items. I also would like for no one in the game to be bullet sponges. So, something that doesn't make the game easier, harder is okay so long as it's not artificial difficulty like misery, but improves weapon model and texture quality. So in short I'm looking for something that doesn't alter gameplay too much, and definitely doesn't make it easier (my favorite balance is realism - everyone including the player dies pretty easy - which arsenal overhaul had down perfectly as long as you're playing on master difficulty which I was and intend to here as well). Ejection ports being on the left side of the weapon and poor animation and texture quality really turns me off.
My main issue with the game is the quality of weapons. I just finished Clear Sky with the Arsenal Overhaul mod () and now I'm looking for as similar of a mod to that as I can get for SoC.
